The popular music review/news site, Sputnikmusic, recently posted a great review of the Donots’ Wake The Dogs album. Sputnik user Conor Swift Christian posted a positive review of the album, giving it a 3.5/5 (“great”). In the review, comparisons to Blink-182 and Green Day are made, but the general opinion is that Donots sound better now! The reviewer also took a liking to the album’s vocals and guitar riffs. You can read the full review HERE.

These are also SUPER limited, so we only have them available in two sizes (L or XL).
If you didn’t already know (shame on you), the Donots have an album out called Wake The Dogs, and most of their recent merch has dogs on it. So to enter this contest all you have to do is name your favorite breed of dog and comment HERE Pretty easy, huh?

OK! Good Records is proud to have been able to participate in A2iM’s first government funded trade missions to Asia and Latin America recently. The Wall-street journal reports that the government spends nearly 2 million dollars per year to boost exports for the past two decades under the Market Development Cooperator Program, but never gave one of its $300,000 grants to the music industry. This is comes as a great opportunity not just for OK! Good Records, but other indie labels as well!
Read more about the trade missions here!
THIS CONTEST ENDS THIS FRIDAY!
We are giving away another autographed copy of the Donots “Come Away With Me” 7in vinyl to ONE lucky fan! This signed copy is super limited, and one hell of a collector’s item. Not to mention, it has great artwork and would be awesome to listen to (contains 4 tracks!).
Now, the Donots tour around the world a lot (they just finished their FIRST US tour recently), and play a ton of songs live. For this contest, all you have to do is name your favorite Donots track to hear live or which track you want to hear live in the future. Louder Than War posted a very nice review of The Musgraves’ You That Way I This Way earlier today. In the review, it’s said that “The Musgraves make great indie music full of unashamed pop sensibility.” and “they so effortlessly mix so many genres together to make it sound perfect, take track three ‘It’s You’ with its somewhat reggae influences while ‘Loving You Hurts’ on the other hand is more swinging sixties than anything else.” Awesome! Read the full review here.
